A man scolded me

as I cruised the speed limit,

he pushing a stroller and

jaywalking this autumn rising.

He wasn't ready.

Not this morning,

not for what he carried.

    This morning I was thinking about the self-righteous attitude of parents--as if they're doing us all a favor by pro-creating.

    Disregard crosswalks.
